In Samsun, a program organized by the Maturation Institute introduced students to hemp, a plant whose high school diploma previously only covered its harmful aspects. This time, the diploma included information about its life cycle, oil, and benefits. Students earned income by producing soap from hemp. Speaking at the event, Prof. Dr. Selim Aytaç, Director of the OMÜ Hemp Research Institute, stated, "In our country, the potential for agreement is ready, farmers are ready to plant hemp. All that's needed is for the industry to be established."
