The first issue of the Journal of Hemp Research, published by Ondokuz Mayıs University, has been released. Aimed at bringing scientific studies on hemp and other bast fiber plants to an international academic platform, the journal offers a new publication medium for researchers in the field.
Published in English and peer-reviewed, the journal features original research and review studies on hemp and fiber plants in the fields of agriculture, food, feed, textiles, materials science, bioenergy, life sciences, medicine, health sciences, biotechnology, economics, commerce, ethics, politics, sustainability, and the environment.
The Journal of Hemp Research aims to contribute to the scientific world by facilitating the sharing of fundamental and applied research as well as innovative methods and techniques. The journal aims to strengthen knowledge sharing among researchers, industry stakeholders, and decision-makers.
Journal of Hemp Research has started accepting articles for publication twice a year, in May and November.
