A letter dated February 16, 2026, received from the Ombudsman Institution of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, states that a significant portion of the applications made to their institution concern education and training issues, and that applications regarding private schools have also increased recently. In this context, it is stated that the Chief Ombudsman, Mr. Mehmet AKARCA, has initiated work on preparing a special report on the problems of education in Turkey, and that a survey has been prepared to serve as the basis for this special report.
